As a consultant, I bring a human-centered approach to my work, helping organizations and individuals understand themselves better and each other better through facilitation & training and program development. I specialize in transforming outdated, dysfunctional gatherings and programs into inclusive and equitable opportunities for learning and development. My passion is working with and on behalf of women and femmes, people of color, and queer folks.

Facilitation + Training

Writer, activist and facilitator, adrienne maree brown, defines facilitation as, “making it as easy as possible for groups of people to do the hard work of dreaming, planning, visioning, and organizing together.” I apply this ethos to working with large corporations, small non-profits, and grassroots community organizations. 

I deliver custom virtual and in-person trainings and workshops for organizations using a trauma-informed, healing-centered framework. I guide groups of all sizes through one-off workshops or more in-depth workshop and training series, and other gatherings. My facilitation style creates a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participants to take risks and grow. In all situations, I’m committed to creating spaces where people can connect to themselves and others and leave changed by the experience.

Program Development

I leverage language and structure to design strategic programs and initiatives for organizations. My experience using design thinking processes and project management techniques transforms ideas and concepts into sustainable, impactful programming for adults and youth. Streamlining and documenting practices and values has increased team connectivity and allowed for greater accessibility and engagement with aligned audiences. Across my career, I’ve developed affinity-based experiences that utilize with an asset-based approach, leveraging a groups gifts to encourage growth, learning and mobilization. Instead of focusing on needs and problems, I help develop programs that organize resources and people around a common goal.

  • Conducting Community needs assessments and organizational cultural assessments
  • Workshop design and curriculum development
  • Program Design Consultation (strategizing and developing structures to guide groups on learning/change journey)

  • Designing and delivering public-facing presentations and reports to stakeholders
